Dr. Roger Pham’s journey is one of resilience, creativity, and purpose. Born in Paris, France to immigrant parents seeking a brighter future, Roger grew up immersed in French culture while witnessing firsthand the value of hard work, perseverance, and family. He’s the firstborn of two, with a younger brother also pursuing dentistry—proof that passion for healing runs in the family.
After completing his early education and certification in France, Roger moved to Southern California where he finished high school at Westminster High and earned his Bachelor of Science from California State University, Long Beach. It was during these years that he realized dentistry was the perfect intersection of his love for science, his artistic eye, and his desire to make a real difference in people’s lives.

Dr. Pham went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the esteemed Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California—an experience that shaped his clinical precision and lifelong commitment to excellence. He later pursued advanced training through the AEGD program at the University of California, San Francisco, sharpening his ability to manage complex cases and deliver exceptional care.
Today, Dr. Pham is more than just a general dentist—he’s a forward-thinking educator, mentor, and advocate for digital dentistry. As a key opinion leader and instructor, he’s passionate about teaching fellow dentists how to embrace technology to elevate patient outcomes. He also proudly serves as the official Team Dentist for the Bakersfield Condors.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find Dr. Pham staying active with pickleball, enjoying movie nights, and making memories with his wife, two children, and their dog, Carmelo. Dr. Eric Pham’s story begins in Paris, France, where he spent the first 14 years of his life surrounded by culture, family, and curiosity. When his parents made the life-changing move to Southern California in search of greater opportunities, Eric embraced the transition and began building the foundation for a career rooted in service, science, and heart.
After earning his Master of Arts in Biomedical Science and completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Midwestern University in Arizona, Dr. Eric set out to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others through dentistry.

Growing up in a family where dentistry was often the topic at the dinner table—including his own brother who pursued the same path—Eric was naturally drawn to the field. But it wasn’t until later that he realized the deeper significance: how oral health influences confidence, systemic wellness, and overall quality of life. That realization turned a career path into a calling.
Blending science with artistry, Dr. Pham loves working with his hands and takes pride in creating dental care experiences that are both clinically excellent and genuinely human. He believes dentistry is more than fixing teeth—it’s about restoring confidence, building relationships, and making a difference, one smile at a time.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Pham is an adventurer at heart. He enjoys staying active through sports, working out, and hiking—and he’s also a self-taught musician. Whether it’s the guitar, piano, ukulele, or drums, he finds joy in rhythm and creativity, always learning something new.

With over a decade of experience in dentistry across the globe—including four years here in the U.S.—Dr. Tariq Mohamed is known for combining clinical excellence with heartfelt care. His patients often say they feel genuinely listened to, cared for, and confident in his hands—and that’s exactly how he wants you to feel.
Dr. Tariq earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the renowned Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC, and holds a Master’s in Clinical Research from UC San Diego. He also completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Medical Sciences & Technology, where he served as President of the Student Dental Association and earned multiple academic honors along the way.

Kevan Benson, DMD
Kevan Benson is an Associate at Signature Smile Dental Studio. Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine. He later moved to the area to be closer to family, bringing his expertise and warm chairside manner to the community.
Kevan realized he was truly in the right profession the day a patient sincerely thanked him for relieving their pain. The gratitude he felt sparked a joy that stayed with him the entire drive home—and left him excited to return to the office the very next day. Moments like that continue to inspire his dedication to patient care and comfort.
Outside of dentistry, Kevan enjoys a full and creative life with his wife, a Bakersfield native, and their two dogs. He loves spending time with family, exploring new hobbies, and diving into how things work. His interests range from painting and repairing cars to analyzing films and music, all of which fuel his curiosity and appreciation for craftsmanship both in and out of the dental office.
